This groovy number was made by cutting a hole through a vase and letting it dry around a large plastic pipe. The glaze, which is rich in magnesium oxide, reacted well with the dark clay underneath to create a rich copper hue that shines in the light. 
 
The body is round like a figure from a Botero paiting, while the thin neck gathers the stems of branches or flowers to a tall column.
