This round vase is a kind of moon-jar, built from two thrown halves, but not in the traditional white porcelain or style. I made it in the summer of 2019, and reminds me of the adobe architecture found on Tatooine. Although the walls are pierced, this vase can be used with flowers and up to 4cm of water.

- Red stoneware made from a blend of clays, fired to 1220° C
- Watertight, dishwasher and oven safe, though best to wash by hand if possible
Materials & Care
All my work is made using stoneware clay and fired in an electric kiln to 1220 degrees C (unless stated otherwise). It is watertight, strong and dishwasher/oven safe, though it is always my advice to treat handmade items carefully and wash by hand if possible.
